For the past several years Arm In Arm In Africa has visited the village of Itipini, South Africa in the Eastern Cape. This village of over 3,000 people was built on a garbage dump and has no electricity, sanitation or public transportation. There are two fresh water spigots for the entire village with a river nearby for bathing and washing clothes. On our visits we have taken much needed medical supplies, newborn baby clothes and Mother Bears.
In the midst of this village is a preschool with beautiful children welcoming visitors with songs and dancing.
We are pleased to announce our financial support for the preschool program in Itipini which will provide lunches for 75 children and 14 staff members five days a week plus extra food to take home for the weekends.
Thank you for supporting this program. Please click on the Donate Today button at the top of our website.
